Established in 2005, Legacy consistently delivers high-quality homes at a substantial value to its network of independent retailers, company-owned stores, mobile home community owners, and their customers. The ownership team, consisting of Curtis Hodgson and Kenny Shipley, has accumulated over 40 years of experience in the industry. Over this period, they developed expertise in every facet of the industry, utilizing their knowledge to build a company that consistently innovates in areas such as floor plan designs, construction methods and materials, and available financing options. With 80+ floor plans ranging from 1 to 5 bedrooms and up to 2,600 square feet, Legacy builds its reputation on designing family-functional floor plans and offering features that surpass most competitors.

Legacy also stands out as one of the industry leaders in the “tiny house” market, with structures ranging from 320 to 399 square feet. Legacy’s tiny houses are available in various floor plans, offering 1 to 3 bedrooms and the option to include a large, covered porch. Our tiny homes are single-story, very functional, and are so popular that they are featured on HGTV’s show Tiny House Hunters and win!

Legacy has other product lines such as Oilfield/Workforce Housing, Wide Sheds, and Moulding & Lamination services based out of our three plants. The company has learned to diversify its product offerings to meet the needs of consumers and businesses alike.

With a presence in over 100 retailers across fourteen states, primarily in the southwest and southeast of the United States, Legacy is positioned for exponential growth as affordable housing gains popularity, accessibility, and desirability among today’s housing consumers.

Legacy manufactures homes at its three facilities located in Fort Worth, Texas, Commerce, Texas, and Eatonton, Georgia. These facilities range in size from approximately 97,000 square feet to over 385,000 square feet. With control over the design and manufacturing process, Legacy can provide a variety of floor plans and more standard features, including state-of-the-art kitchens, new smart home tech, and energy-efficient options like our 21-SEER Ducted Mini-Split system to name a few.

As one of the most vertically integrated companies in the industry, Legacy offers a complete solution to its customers.
